I found this amazing antiques shop in the main square of the city of Ortahisar, Turkey. During my whole Turkey tour this is only real antique shop I was able to find as in Istanbul everything I saw was commercial and very european and I’ve been very disappointed by the Grand Bazar.
So this little shop was a real treasure to find, showing every kind of bric à brac from catholic statues to old narghilé, turkish lamps and ottoman jewels. I don’t even know the name, but you can easly find it as the city of Ortahisar is very little and the shop has a sign saying “Welcome to house of memories”.
